AviConnectTerms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and AviConnect (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use AviConnect.
Who can use AviConnect
You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. Give accurate information about yourself and don’t pretend to be someone else.
Community rules
AviConnect has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don’t post or send anything that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, spam or scams, or that shares someone else’s private information.
Don’t encourage unsafe or illegal flying, trespass on private airports, or try to cheat the game (for example by faking your location).
Don’t try to break, overload or get around the app’s security, or collect other pilots’ information.
You can report a pilot or a message, and block anyone, from their profile or chat. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without notice.
Your content
You own what you post (your profile, photo and messages). You give us permission to store and show it to other pilots as the app is designed to, only to run AviConnect.
Your profile, check-ins, stamps and patches are visible to other signed-in pilots. Messages are seen only by you and the pilot you’re messaging, except that we may review messages that are reported.
Flying safely
AviConnect is a social game, not a navigation or flight-planning tool. Airport details come from public FAA data and may be out of date or wrong. Always use current official charts, the Chart Supplement, NOTAMs and weather before you fly.
The pilot in command is always responsible for the safety of each flight. Never use the app in a way that distracts you while flying. Private airports and military airfields need permission to land.
Restaurants and businesses are listed for information only; we don’t endorse them.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
No warranty, limited liability
AviConnect is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available, accurate or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens because you relied on information in the app or met someone you connected with through it.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we’ll ask you to agree again in the app before you continue.
